Office of the Administrative Officer 

The Office of the Administrative Officer directs and manages the administrative functions that support the delivery of program activities, products and services for DYRS.

            Office of Management Support Services

The Office of Management Support Services (OMSS) plans, develops, manages and coordinates vital administrative support functions, including contracting and procurement, warehouse management, financial management, travel, and training and assists in budget development.

 

Procurement Division

The Procurement Division provides contract management, purchasing, and technical assistance to DYRS management in order for them to obtain the services and commodities they need within budget, on time and according to customer specifications.  The Procurement Division also provides day-to-day financial management of the adopted budget; implements budgetary controls to ensure that DYRS is not anti-deficient; manages the development of the annual Services Level Agreement (a procurement planning document); and ensures that the Department meets its annual LSDBE quota.

 

Vehicle/Fleet Management Division

The Vehicle/Fleet Management Division is responsible for providing policy and procedural instructions for managing the use of vehicles for authorized government business; ensures safe operation of government vehicles; maximum compliance with laws and regulations governing operation of any vehicle while on authorized government business; accountability of operator’s for notices of infraction received as a result of operating any vehicle on government business or having assigned custody of a government vehicle; complete knowledge of the nature of vehicle assignments and custody; and appropriate operator qualification and training for vehicles operated.

 

Warehouse Division

The Warehouse Division is responsible for the day to day deployment of goods and commodities to DYRS secure facilities and for providing regular office supplies to non-secure facilities.  The division ensures that all the goods and equipment are inventoried in accordance with District and Departmental policies and procedures.
