(WASHINGTON, DC) – On behalf of the DC YouthLink initiative, the DC Children and Youth Investment Trust Corporation announces the availability of a funding opportunity and invites qualified applicants to submit proposals to provide high quality services to DYRS youth primarily in the District of Columbia during Fiscal Year (FY) 2014. Specifically, DC YouthLink seeks to support the delivery of a variety of high quality programs that will provide purposeful and developmentally appropriate opportunities to help DYRS youth thrive and achieve positive outcomes.
Application Timeline:
- April 12, 2013 Notice of Funding Availability is Released
- April 22, 2013 Request for Proposals is Released
- April 30, May 2 and 6, 2013 Funding Technical Assistance (FTA) Sessions Held (Attendance at one of the FTA sessions is mandatory to be eligible to submit a proposal)
- April 22, - May 7, 2013 Period for Submission of Written Questions to RFP (questions related to the RFP will not be answered after May 7, 2013)
- May 7, 2013 by 4:00 pm Notice of Intent to Apply (NOIA) Deadline (Submission of NOIA is mandatory to be eligible to submit a proposal)
- May 10, 2013 Responses to Applicant Questions Posted on the Trust website
- May 20, 2013 by 4:00 pm Proposal Submission Deadline
- June 24, 2013 Awards Announced
