Once committed, every youth is assigned a DYRS Case Manager who develops and implements an Individual Development Plan (IDP).  The IDP is based on the youth’s strengths, risks, and needs.  It also incorporates input from the youth, their families, teachers, and other individuals involved in the youth’s life. The IDP then outlines the ongoing supervision, services, support, and opportunities required to foster a youth’s successful transition to adulthood and to reduce the likelihood of re-offending.
