Notice of Funding Availability – Service Coalition Development

DYRS seeks eligible entities to propose innovative enrichment programming and activities to support D.C. court-involved youth and their families. Proposed programming should include one or more of the following at any of the DYRS locations: workforce training, skill-building opportunities, educational support, mental health care, physical health care, behavioral health care, one-to-one mentoring, group counseling, family connectivity and empowerment events, multidisciplinary arts activities, and community engagement, among others. The amount available for the project is approximately $6.5 million across all grantees. Anticipated awards will range from approximately $100,000 to $500,000 per grantee for a one-year period – starting October 1, 2019 – with the possibility to renew for up to three years pending funding availability and grantee performance.
