Request for Applications for Programs at the Achievement Center

The DC Department of Youth Rehabilitative Services (DYRS) is funding age-appropriate programming for two groups: youth ages 14–16 and youth ages 17–21. For youth ages 14–16, programs should focus on building foundational soft skills, work readiness, and career exploration to spark early interest in future pathways. For youth ages 17–21, programs should provide vocational training, apprenticeships, and on-the-job learning experiences as well as leadership development programming that supports a clear “learning-to-earning” transition into employment.

Request for Applications for the 2026 Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP)

The DC Department of Youth Rehabilitative Services (DYRS) is seeking up to four providers to deliver a 6-week Summer Vocational and Workforce Training Program under the Marion S. Barry Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP). Vendors shall propose a location to provide programming within the District of Columbia.
