Request for Applications for a Workforce Development Program
The Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services (DYRS) seeks to fund entities for a juvenile justice workforce development program at the New Beginnings Youth Development Center. The program aims to equip justice-involved youth with marketable skills, hands-on job training, and clear pathways to sustainable employment.
This program aims to ensure youth in our care, along with educational and behavioral services, acquire soft skills, vocational training, and applied work job experience with a direct path to job placement when returning to the community.
Application Details:
- The deadline for application submissions is Friday, December 10, 2025, at 5 p.m. All applications must be submitted via ZoomGrants Grants Management platform at https://www.zoomgrants.com/gprop.asp?donorid=2391&limited=5845
- The available funding is now up to $300,000 for eight (8) months of programming, starting on February 1, 2026.

Eligibility:
All institutions listed below are eligible:
- Nonprofit organizations, including those with IRS 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) determinations,
- Faith-based organizations,
- Government agencies,
- Universities/educational institutions,
- Private Enterprises.
