FY 19 Mini-Grant Competition – DYRS’ Community Programming Initiative

Progressive Life Center (PLC), the Administrative and Capacity Building Partner grantee for the Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services (DYRS), is pleased to launch a Mini-Grant Competition for a targeted group of programs to join the Fiscal Year 2019 (“FY 19”) Service Coalition for DYRS’ Community Programming Initiative. The purpose of the Community Programming Initiative is to establish a community-based continuum of services that is local, accessible, and focuses on positive youth development. PLC invites local organizations to submit proposals for high quality programs and services that will provide the experiences, skill-building opportunities, supports, resources, and enrichment activities that assist youth in reaching their personal goals and developmental milestones. PLC is seeking to add one (1) additional providers to participate in the Service Coalition during FY 19 (the duration of FY 19 is October 1, 2018 – September 30, 2019). Specifically, the providers would be selected to deliver Creative Arts programming focused on Digital Storytelling at DYRS Achievement Centers.
