(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – The District of Columbia Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services (DYRS) today released an agency update detailing its approach to positively impact the quality of life and economic outcomes for court-involved youth by expanding access to quality education. The update covers youth receiving community-based educational support services through DC YouthLink, as well as youth awarded GEDs, high school diplomas and achieving literacy benchmarks needed to successfully enter the professional workforce.
