(WASHINGTON, DC) – On Tuesday, March 29, at 4:00 p.m., the Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services (DYRS) will join local Girl Scouts of America, Troop 42003 at DC Doors (Zoe’s Drop-in Center) for a community enrichment day of service.
DYRS will be joined by local Girl Scouts and Department of Human Services (DHS) Youth Services at DC Doors to donate care packages of personal necessity items that can ease the worries of other young women going through challenging times of transition. During the visit, there will be direct engagement between DYRS youth, girl scout troops, and young women in transition for a vision board activity to inspire hope, self-care, and togetherness.
