The Health and Restoration Team (HRT) is the community behavioral-mental health team under the Health Administration of DYRS. The mission is to provide supportive mental health interventions in the community including psychoeducation and mental health awareness initiatives. In addition to managing behavioral health functions for DYRS committed youth and their families, HRT strives to educate, train, and provide support for staff to include, but not limited to, annual and ad hoc behavioral health, focused didactics, wellness workshops, therapeutic activities, and civic engagement.
