Have you lost contact with your Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services (DYRS) Case Manager or Superior Court - Court Social Services Division (CSSD) Probation Officer?

OPERATION SAFE RETURN is a program offered jointly by the DC Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services (DYRS) and the DC Superior Court, Court Social Services Division (CSSD). The program is designed to encourage court-involved youth to surrender and respond to outstanding custody orders. To successfully complete CSSD probation or DYRS commitment, youth must follow all court-ordered conditions, and all aftercare/community requirements. Families receiving assistance benefits should also be aware that if a youth residing in the home is not in compliance, the family’s benefits may be interrupted.
