DYRS committed youth receive comprehensive support services designed to promote positive development, reduce the likelihood of re-offending and help guide successful community reintegration. DYRS and the Children and Youth Investment Trust Corporation (CYITC) oversee DC YouthLink, a coalition of community-based organizations that deliver an array of services for youth and families. DC YouthLink service providers work with DYRS and sister agencies within the District to offer court-involved youth and families with supports and services including, but not limited to:
- Workforce Training and Job Placement
- Educational Support
- Physical, Mental, and Behavioral Health Care
- Family Empowerment and Engagement
- Electronic Monitoring
- Activities to Promote Relationships, Creativity and Community Engagement
